Who Can Join?

We proudly offer two membership categories to suit different backgrounds and interests:

• Member: Open to veterans who have served in the armed forces, whether Australian or Allied nations.

• Social Member: Open to individuals who may not have served but are interested in joining, often with a connection to someone with military history (though it’s not required).

No matter your category, everyone is welcome to share in our tradition of community and camaraderie.

Fees & Costs

Good news! Membership is free for both categories:

• Veteran Members: Lifetime membership at no cost.

• Social Members: Annual membership is free but requires renewal each year.

Why Join Us?

Becoming a member means being part of a friendly group that values connection, remembrance, and service. We meet bi-monthly at Club Helensvale, and each meeting is an opportunity to reconnect, reflect, and socialize. Our gatherings are brief (we aim for an hour) and followed by some well-deserved socializing with fellow members, their families, and guests.

 

Benefits of Membership

• Bi-Monthly Meetings: Held at Club Helensvale in January, March, May, July, September, and November.

• Anzac Day Dawn Service: Held in the grounds behind Club Helensvale, a solemn and proud tradition to honour those who served.

• Social Activities: From remembrance ceremonies to other events throughout the year, we stay active and engaged.

• Subsidized Events: Outings, dinners, and activities at reduced costs for veteran members. Social members are welcome, though full price applies.

• Exclusive Recognition: Receive a personalized name badge and membership card.

• Access to Resources: Be listed on the RSL Queensland database and receive newsletters, magazines, and updates.

• Advocacy & Assistance: Our advocates are here to help—whether you’re a member or not, if you’re a veteran, we’ve got your back.

• Inclusive Community: Wives, children, and families are always welcome, because we’re more than a Sub-Branch; we’re a family.

• Camaraderie & Connection: Enjoy the company of like-minded people who understand the bonds of service and the value of sticking together.

How to Join

Joining is simple! Just share your service details and proof of service—rest assured, we treat all information with the utmost confidentiality. Your documents will not be photocopied, and any personal papers will be promptly returned to you.
