FUNDRAISING

At the North Gold Coast RSL Sub-Branch, fundraising plays a vital role in enabling us to support veterans and their families. As a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC), we are proud to serve our community without any direct government funding. While we receive some financial assistance from RSL State Headquarters, our programs rely heavily on the generosity of individuals and organizations within the Gold Coast district.

Key Fundraising Periods

Our primary fundraising efforts take place during two significant periods of the year before:

  •     ANZAC Day

  •     Remembrance Day

These periods hold deep significance, offering the perfect opportunity for the community to come together to honour our veterans while contributing to their welfare. Whether it's through the purchase of commemorative items or donations, every contribution helps us make a difference.

 

Successful Fundraising Initiatives
  • Pop-Up Stalls: You’ll often find our dedicated teams at local shopping centres during fundraising periods. These stalls have proven to be particularly successful, allowing us to connect directly with the community and raise vital funds.

  • Community Support: The unwavering support from district businesses and schools is invaluable. By displaying & selling commemorative pins, badges, and poppies these partners play a crucial role in spreading awareness and generating resources for our programs.
